Imee Marcos and her false UP law degree as mentioned in her old curriculum vitae

Ilocos Norte Governor and 2019 senatorial candidate Imee Marcos has falsely claimed that she "graduated cum laude" from the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law.

Marcos included this supposed educational attainment in her curriculum vitae when she served at the House of Representatives as congresswoman of the 2nd District of Ilocos Norte from 1998 to 2007. Her old CV can be accessed through the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine tool.

However, UP Executive Vice President Teodoro Herbosa told Rappler in an e-mail that Marcos has no record of graduation nor honors with the UP Registrar's office.

Herbosa said, however, that Marcos took non-degree courses or courses without credit both in the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Law.
