FALSE: Alejano says OFWs 'sold their souls to Duterte'

Magdalo Party List Representative and 2019 senatorial candidate Gary Alejano allegedly described overseas Filipino workers (OFW) as "worthless" after "selling themselves" to President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Facebook community page OFWs Journey Around The World posted the claim on February 21, 2019. "Wala tayong mapapala sa mga OFW, nabayaran na ang kaluluwa nila kay Duterte," Alejano supposedly said, according to the claim. (We won't get any benefits from OFWs. They have already sold their souls to Duterte).

This is false. Alejano never made the statement. The claim was previously proven as false and was rehashed. The claim first surfaced in 2018, and Alejano had already issued a response at the time.
