FACT CHECK: No, this is not an ABS-CBN News story on a former Bulacan official

On May 11, 2019, a certain Facebook page, Bocaue Ngayon, posted a supposed ABS-CBN report claiming that the "Ombudsman has reopened graft case" against a former Bulacan provincial administrator “over alleged misuse, conversion and misappropriation of government funds.”

The Facebook post is fake and ABS-CBN News did not publish the article in any of its platforms.

An article on plunder and graft filed against Bulacan officials, originally written by The Philippine Star, was reposted by ABS-CBN News in February 2014.

Update: The post was taken down from the Bocaue Ngayon Facebook page and was replaced by an article on plunder and graft charges filed against Bulacan officials.
