Bong Go website references disputed SWS survey
The latest Pulse Asia survey result is consistent with another recently released survey conducted by the Social Weather Station (sic) for the midterm senatorial race which also showed that (Bong) Go is enjoying solo 3rd spot with 47 percent rating.

A press release posted on Bong Go's official website claiming the Senate hopeful is in the “top 3 of senatorial polls” needs context.
The March 19 post said the former Special Assistant to the President placing third in Pulse Asia’s most recent survey was “consistent with another recently released survey conducted by the Social Weather Station (sic).”
While Go is indeed in the third to fifth bracket in Pulse Asia’s February survey, the supposed SWS survey is disputed and not found on the research organization’s official website.
Surveys not posted on the SWS website are not theirs, said director for communication and information technology Leo Laroza.
An SWS “public reminder” warning against false reports about its surveys reads in part:
SWS again reminds the public that false reportage about SWS surveys is very common in the period leading up to an election. Everyone is enjoined to rely only on the SWS website (www.sws.org.ph) for its advisories, announcements, and survey reports released to the public.
SWS also recognizes that with the coming May 2019 elections, many surveys on preferences for national and local positions are being conducted by various groups. Some of these groups are legitimate, while others are not.
SWS posted the reminder on its website March 7, hours after newsrooms such as the state-run Philippine News Agency reported the results of a supposed February survey and Go explained his strong showing in a press release.
It posted the reminder again March 19, the same day Go’s website referred to the supposed survey.
Mindanews earlier reported SWS saying the survey being attributed to it is “not theirs.”
